"Seven Steps to Heaven" is the eighth studio album by Miles Davis, recorded in 1963 and released by Columbia Records. The album was recorded with a new group of musicians after Davis lost his previous band. The album features compositions by Victor Feldman and Herbie Hancock, who would go on to become long-time members of Davis' band.
